• generally, work in a project expands to fill available time.
• people with high pain tolerance seem to encounter a lot of pain. Is there some correlation? Or is it a cognitive bias?
• people who surmount seemingly insurmountable obstacles then go on to encounter even bigger ones. Is there some correlation? Or is it a cognitive bias?
